What We Do
North AI launched in 2018 and served the Office of Strategic Intelligence & Acquisition (OSI&A) within OUSD R&E in the Pentagon for 5+ years supporting their effort at discovery of emerging technologies (CTAs) using proprietary AI methodology and models from open-source content providers. In 2023, we transitioned our AI capabilities and solutions to create a scalable, on-demand technology intelligence, analysis and reporting platform tailored for the defense and national intelligence sectors.
North AI provides an AI-powered technology intelligence platform that enables military, defense and government leaders to conduct real-time, in-depth analysis of emerging and critical technologies. North AI's platform employs a multi-agent methodology (NorthStar) and trained LLMs, leveraging our highly curated global innovation source data to provide insights into critical technology areas (CTAs), key organizations, countries and subject matter experts driving innovation. Users can input any emerging or critical technology of interest into our guided Tech Vector query interface to engage North AI’s proprietary dataset of hundreds of millions of open-source innovation documents to produce a custom, curated analysis in seconds. Our flexible customization allows for adapting analysis based on technology disciplines, sub-disciplines, and emerging fields, including adding new technologies of interest on demand and in real-time for critical analysis, assessment, and recommendations.
